All warehouses now have EMCS up and running again, you may now continue to use CDS unless you're already in contact with the support team about an ongoing authentication issue in which case please continue to liaise with them.

Update

No problems have been noticed overnight so we will continue to enable the service for remaining customers throughout the morning while continuing to monitor.

Monitoring

HMRC have confirmed that we can retry opening up the channel and have done so for a small number of warehouses and the results are positive, we will monitoring again tomorrow morning and if there are no problems we will enable the services once more for all remaining warehouses.

Update

The problem identified yesterday evening appears to have only been a part of issue, we've now identified another part of it and are in communication with HMRC to see if the channel can be opened back up.

Please continue to NOT use CDS, access to it is being revoked now from all warehouse systems until we get the connection back.

Unfortunately HMRC continue to block the connections, we've informed them and are waiting further information.

Identified

We believe the problem has been identified and steps have been taken to resolve it, services remain switched off for customers until tomorrow morning in order to give HMRC's system time to start allowing connections again. Tomorrow morning first thing we plan to start enabling the services slowly and monitoring them to hopefully bring everyone back online, in the meantime do not use CDS until further notice.

Investigating

We are aware of some customers having problems with Vision communicating with HMRC's EMCS & CDS systems. We've been in contact with HMRC about this since yesterday and are currently waiting for their response while we continue our investigations.

As a precautionary measure, we have had to disable the EMCS service for all customers and we request that you do not attempt to use CDS in the meantime.
